Biography: Son of Alexander Kynoch; born Aberdeen, 15 February 1895. Medicine, 1914-15, 1919-. A.U.O.T.C. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 4 January 1915 ; commissioned, 22 August 1916. Served-Home, 1915-16; France, May-August 1916, May-September 1917, June 1918-March 1919. Final rank, Acting Captain. Military Cross, September 1917.
