Biography: Son of William Kennaway; born Aberdeen, 27 August 1899. Arts, 1916-17 ; Arts and Science, 1919-. Edinburgh University O.T.C. Cadet, March 1918 ; commissioned, Guards Machine Gun Regiment, 15 September 1918. Home service, October-December 1918. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
