Biography: Son of Francis Johnson; born Kew, Melbourne, 18 September 1881. M.B., 1903; M.D., 1907. Captain, Australian Army Medical Corps, A.E.F., 18 September 1914; attached to 1st Australian General Hospital, 12 Australian Field Ambulance, 3rd Australian Auxiliary Hospital. Served-Egypt, 1915; England, 1916-17, 1918; France, June 1917-January 1918. Final rank, Major.
