Biography: Born Old Deer, 13 October 1895. Arts 1913-14, 1919- . Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 27 November 1914 ; commissioned, 26 March 1918 ; attached to 1st, 5th, Gordon Highlanders. Served - Home, 1914-15, 1917-18; France, Army of the Rhine, December 1915-March 1917, October 1918-April 1919. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
