Biography: Son of Philip Jackson; born Chesham, Bucks, 3 May 1895. Arts, 1920-. Joined 15th County of London Regiment, 1912. Mobilized, 4th August 1914. Commissioned, 7th Norfolk Regiment, 3 September 1915; transferred to R.A.F. Served-Home, 1914-15, April 1917-April 1919; France, March 1915-August 1916; North Russia, April-November 1919. Twice wounded. Final rank, Acting Captain.
