Biography: Son of John Innes; born Inveraven, Banffshire, 28 February 1869. M.B., 1896. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C, 1905, resigned 1913. Rejoined 7 May 1915, attached to 2/1st Highland Casualty Clearing Station. Home service, May 1915-June 1916. Final rank, Major.
