Biography: Son of Henry Horne; born New Pitsligo, 23 September 1896. Medicine, 1915-16, 1919-. Enlisted, Royal Navy Auxiliary S.B. Res., 10 April 1916; commissioned, 10 October 1917. Served-Chatham, Portland, April 1916-October 1917; H.M.T.B.D. ""Springbok"", Harwich, October 1917-April 1918. Final rank, Surgeon-Sub-Lieutenant.
