Biography: Son of Joseph T. Hingston; born Clifton, 13 July 1871. M.B., 1900. B.A. (Cantab.), 1894. Commissioned, R.A.M.C., 1908. Mobilized Major. Served-France, March 1915-November 1917; Italy, France, October 1918-May 1919. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel.
