Biography: Son of George Henry; born Bucksburn, 10 November 1880. M.A., 1903. Gunner, Royal Garrison Artillery, 30 June 1916; commissioned, July 1918. Served-U.K., 1916-17, 1917-18; France, Flanders, May-October 1917. Final rank, 2nd Lieutenant.
