Biography: Son of John Hendry; born Fraserburgh, 3 February 1895. Science, 1914-15, 1919-. Private, 4th Gordon Highlanders , 19 April 1915 ; 2nd Lieutenant, 5th Gordon Highlanders, 17 January 1916 ; later attached M.G.C. Served -Home, 15 months; Abroad, 26 months. Prisoner of War, 8 months. Final rank, Lieutenant.
