Biography: Son of John Henderson ; born Edinburgh, 3 February 1884. M.A., 1904; B.L., 1906. Commissioned, 1st Highland Brigade, Royal Field Artillery, August 1914; attached 51st, 64th, 54th, Divisions. Served-Home, 1914-15, 1915-18; France, April-December 1915 ; Palestine, Syria, Egypt, May 1918-March 1919. Final rank, Captain.
