Biography: Son of John Greig; born Alvah, Banffshire, 4 October 1879. M.A. 1901; B.L. (dist.), 1902 ; Edmond Prize. Private, Uganda Volunteer Reserves, 1909. Served-Uganda, 1914-16. Died, 27th December 1916.
