Biography: Born in Elgin, 18 January 1898. Science, 1919-. Private, 2/6th Seaforth Highlanders, 8 December 1914; attached to 1/6th Highlanders, 14 Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, 2/2nd Lovat's Scouts (Labour Corps). Served-U.K. and France 4 ½ years. Final rank, Private.
