Biography: Son of Thomas Gordon; born Aberdeen, 15 November 1895. Medicine, 1913-14. A.U.O.T.C.; 2nd Lieutenant, 2nd Highland Field Company, Royal Engineers (T.), 4 September. 1914; transferred to Indian Army; served with 10th Jats, 48th Pioneers. Home, 1914-15; France, May 1915-October 1917; India, 1917-. Final rank, Captain. Military Cross, 11 November 1916.
