Biography: Son of Alex. T. Garden; born Deskford, 6 June 1879. M.B., 1902; M.D., 1908. Joined Volunteer Battalion Gordon Highlanders. Enlisted, R.A.M.C., 5 October 1914. Served - Home, France, Italy, N. Africa, Malta. Final rank, Captain. Two mentions in despatches.
