Biography: Son of Robert Gage; born Aberdeen, 14 December 1871. M.A. (Science), 1891; B.Sc. (Highest Honours), 1893; M.B., 1896. Surgeon-Lieutenant, Imperial Medical Service, 1898. Mobilized. Served-India, Burma. Special duty, production of Cinchona Bark for Imperial quinine supplies, 1917-18.
