Biography: Son of Hugh Fraser; born Alvah, Banffshire, 9 June 1874. M.B., 1906. Commissioned. R.A.M.C., 1907. Mobilized, August 1914. Attached to 9th Field Ambulance, Vologda Force, N.R.E.F. Served- France, August 1914-October 1918; Archangel, June-September 1919. Final rank, Acting Lieutenant-Colonel. D.S.O. Bar to D.S.O. Military Cross, Croix de Guerre. Four mentions, 1915, 1916, 1917, 1918.
