War work-Medical Officer in charge, Auxiliary Military Hospital, Blackley; Medical Officer, Military Hospital, Manchester, 1914-17. Lieutenant, R.A.M.C., 21 April 1917; attached to 57th General Hospital. Served-France, 1 year. Final rank, Lieutenant.
