Biography: Son of Arthur J. B. Flowerdew; born Billingford, Norfolk, 26 September 1886. M.B., 1908. Dipl. in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, 1920. Commissioned, Indian Medical Service, 1909. Mobilized. Served-Egypt, Mesopotamia, Waziristan. Final rank, Acting Major. Mentioned in despatches, April 1916.
