Biography: Son of John E. Ferguson; born Cutch, India, 23 August 1891. Arts, 1909-10. Commissioned, Durham Light Infantry, 1912. Mobilized. Served-India (Nowshera), 1914-17; Mesopotamia, September 1917-January 1918; Palestine, January-April 1918. Wounded, captured by Turks. Final rank, Captain.
