Biography: Son of William Falconer; born Fordoun, 5 February 1891. University Diploma in Agriculture, 1909. Commissioned, Royal Field Artillery, February 1915. Served-Home, 6 months; France, 2½ years. Final rank, Captain. Mentioned in despatches.
