Cran, Charles Frederick
Biography: Son of George Cran; born Aberdeen, 24 January 1878. M.A., 1899. Private, 1st Sportsman's Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, December 1914; 2nd Lieutenant, 5th Wiltshire Regiment, June 1915. Served-S.W. Command, 1915 ; Gallipoli, August-November 1915 ; Mesopotamia, April 1916-January 1919. Final rank, Acting Captain. M.C., October 1918.
