Biography: Son of David Cramb.; born Alness, 9 October 1890. M.A. (I Math.), 1912. Private, U Company, 4th Gordon Highlanders, 1908-12. Rejoined, September 1914; commissioned, October 1914. Served with Machine Gun Corps; Royal Engineers. Served-Home, 2 years 4 months ; France, Flanders, Germany, 2 years 8 months. Final rank, Captain. M.C. Mentioned in despatches, October 1918.
