Jamesone, Williame
Biography:
Brother of George Jamesone of Aberdeen, the portrait painter. Lawyer in Edinburgh, practiced until his death in 1632. He bequeathed his books and mathematical instruments accumulated whilst resident in England, to Marischal College in 1632.
