Henryson, Thomas
Biography: Judge. May have been at Glasgow University 1585. One of the Commissaries of Edinburgh from at least June 1598. Acted as advocate-depute 1606. Commendator of Pittenweem 1609. Appointed judge 1610. Acted as advocate on behalf of the Kirk 1618. Ordinary lord in the Court of Session from June 1622, became Lord Chesters, knighted. Member of the Privy Council 1625-6 (resigned to keep his position as judge). Resigned as advocate-depute for the kirk 1637, because of "great aage [sic] and last seiknes". Died Feb 1638.
