Drury, Henry

Biography

Classical scholar. His father Joseph Drury married the daughter of Benjamin Heath, DCh. In 1775. Born Harrow 1778. Educated Harrow, Eton, B.A King's Coll. Cambridge 1801, M.A. 1804. Fellow 1799-1808. Assistant master at Harrow 1801, master of the lower school 1833-41. Ordained 1811, rectory of Fingest 1820. Died Harrow 1841.
