Biography: Born in Yorkshire. Educated at Cambridge, he graduated BA (1567), MA (1570), and BTh (1577), DTh in 1583. At an unknown date, he married Anne Dalton; three sons, Anthony, Robert, and Richard, survived. Bishop of St. David's in Wales, 1594. Died in office in 1615. The estate continued in the family until 1701.
