Happy New Year. It promises to be quite an interesting year for co-operative and employee ownership research, especially in light of the conclusion of the UN 2012 Year of Co-operatives.
A delayed release but an interesting one nonetheless. The proceedings of the 2011 ICA Global Research Conference, held between 24-27 August in Mikkeli, Finland, have been published. The report covers a variety of themes relevant to co-operatives and employee ownership, featuring scholarly work from some of the leading academics in the field.
Staying with recent publications, the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC) has released a new journal. The inaugural issue of The Journal of Cooperative Thought and Practice features articles that seek to mediate theory and practice on a range of pertinent issues. We look forward to many volumes and issues based on this one.
