Conference of European University Chaplains

Conference of European University Chaplains

CEUC 2017

The Conference of European University Chaplains - CEUC - is a Christian Ecumenical organisation, whose aims are:

  • to promote communication between university chaplains in Europe and exchange of professional experience and good practice
  • to engage with issues in Christian spirituality, youth and culture in the context of tertiary education
  • to represent concerns and interests of university chaplains to educational institutions and church bodies.

The annual CEUC conference is a 'sacred space' for doing all these things. It is also an opportunity for reflection, for sustaining our spiritual health, for motivating us in our work with students and staff in our universities, and for enjoying each other’s company in a lively social environment.  Members are chaplains and other religious professionals working in higher education in Europe.

The conference will have 3-4 keynote lectures, reflection groups, workshops, a visit to RGU with a talk from the Principal, and some social/optional activities.
