Key facts
Employer Liaison Groups consist of internal and external representatives, including alumni, employers, students, academic and Careers and Employability Service staff. The Groups have a remit to discuss and enhance students’ employability, graduate destinations and skills development. Groups help ensure that academic Schools and disciplines develop links with external representatives and provide channels to build durable employer-University relationships, which bring clear benefits to all stakeholders.
The University is organised into 12 academic Schools, each offering a range of subject areas:
- Biological Sciences
- Business
- Divinity, History & Philosophy
- Education
- Engineering
- Geosciences
- Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture
- Natural & Computing Sciences
- Medicine, Medical Sciences & Nutrition
- Psychology
- Social Science
There are opportunities for external organisations, employers and alumni to participate in these School-level Employer Liaison Groups, which meet several each academic year.
