Career Journey: Kevin Lamb, Senior Director, Alvarez & Marsal Europe LLP
Kevin Lamb is a Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Restructuring practice in Scotland. He brings over 20 years of experience in business growth, transformation and restructuring.
His main areas of focus are mid market businesses experiencing challenging circumstances and needing to undergo change through restructuring or insolvency. Kevin has worked with clients across a range of industries, including food & drink, hospitality, manufacturing and retail.
Following graduation from the University, Kevin trained as a chartered accountant in Aberdeen before moving to London. From there he has had roles at Starbucks Coffee and running a multi site motor group before returning to practice and ultimately setting up Alvarez & Marsal’s Restructuring offering in Scotland.

Imposter Sydrome Workshop with Sarah Morris, Internal Audit Director , Sainsburys Bank
Sarah has over 25 years of assurance and regulatory experience in the banking and wider financial services sector. She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Securities, and Chartered Internal Auditor as well as being an appointed Vice- Chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors’ Scottish Committee. Sarah leads the Women in Internal Audit group for the Scottish Committee, liaising with the national group at every opportunity to bring events and insight. Sarah also leads the engagement with Scottish Universities, raising IA’s profile and showcasing potential career paths on offer.
