FREE Virtual Conference, Networking and Exhibition for those in HR, Training and Recruitment
The University of Aberdeen Business School is delighted to be sponsoring the first cHeRries annual conference which is, for the first time, being hosted virtually – and is entirely free to attend.
After what has been a challenging year for us all, especially in HR, DC Thomson Media bring you a day devoted to you, your business, and your future.
The cHeRries Virtual Conference programme is packed full of interactive activities and online sessions to help you to not only RECOVER from and REFLECT on the year that was, but also to RESET and get ready for the new and exciting challenges that 2021 will bring us. And who better to inspire us all as we ‘reset’, than Olympic-medal-winning athletics-star-turned-motivational-speaker Kriss Akabusi. He concludes our RECOVER, REFLECT and RESET sessions.
As well as all this, the finalists of this year’s cHeRries Awards will be revealed, although the overall winners won’t be announced until next month (at our virtual awards ceremony on March 4).
So whether you are in the comfort of your own home or are back in the office, take your seats; get on your marks; and get set for what promises to be a truly inspiring day for all who work in HR – this conference is already shaping up to be unlike any other you have attended.
10:15 – 11:15
Like most industries, we have weathered the storm that was 2020 – and we have survived. Now it is time to RECOVER. In this upbeat session we will learn to celebrate what we have achieved, the little victories we’ve experienced on our journeys, during one of the most challenging years yet for HR.
11:45 – 12:45
Stop! Now is the time to REFLECT. Looking back, reflecting and learning from a negative experience is something we should all be doing, but we never have enough time. This one-hour session gives you permission to do just that. What lessons will you learn, about yourself and those around you?
13:45 – 15:00
On your marks, RESET, go! Ever wondered how an athlete motivates themselves after a setback? You are about to find out from one of the best-loved personalities on the athletics track, as Olympic legend Kriss Akabusi MBE shares his stories of how to bounce back after losing a race and how we can all reset our mindset. Get ready for this mentally-stimulating training session as the three-time Olympic medallist motivates and inspires.
