The handling collection, resources and expertise at the Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre, together with the resources of the Zoology Museum and Cruickshank Botanic Garden, can be used by local colleges for support in teaching science and environmental subjects. Aberdeen Biodiversity Centre works with undergraduate and postgraduate trainee teachers from the University of Aberdeen School of Education to promote and encourage biodiversity education and creativity in science within the Curriculum for Excellence.
