Crime and Punishment Walk @ Aberdeen City Centre

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THE EVENT OF THIS DATE HAS CHANGED*

As we approach All Hallows Eve, why not take a grisly step back in time to look at the history of crime and punishment in Aberdeen! Dr Chris Croly will lead us on the walk, which begins at the doors of St Nicholas Kirk and ends at Heading Hill (named for its past use as the place where those convicted were beheaded!) situated behind the Castlegate. Once the tour concludes, we’ll head to Old Blackfriar’s Pub to warm up and chat with fellow alumni over drinks. Tickets are priced at £6 per person and include your choice of beer, a glass of wine or soft drink. As always please feel free to book additional places for your friends and family.

*Please note that the walk is weather dependent. If the weather is particularly bad we will offer an alternative indoor talk and drinks on campus. In this case refunds will be available to those who do not wish to attend the indoor event. If you have mobility issues please contact us by email prior to booking.

DUE TO THE CHANGE OF DATE A FEW PLACES HAVE BECOME AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. If you would like to book a place please email us.
