This is a past event

Meet fellow alumni and representatives from the University, such as the Interim Head of the Business School Professor Keith Bender, Deputy Dean of the Business School Lindsay Tibbetts, and Chair in Business School Professor Norman Hutchison, on Thursday the 4th of April from 6pm-8pm at Asia House, 63 New Cavendish St, Marylebone, London W1G 7LP, for a presentation by Simon Lancaster on the 'Secret Language of Leadership'.

Having started writing speeches for Cabinet Ministers in Blair’s government in the late 90s, Simon Lancaster is now one of the world’s top speechwriters. Today he writes speeches for some of the world’s top business leaders including the CEOs of Unilever, InterContinental Hotels and HSBC. He has also written three best-selling books on communication including Speechwriting: The Expert Guide, Winning Minds: Secrets from the Language of Leadership, and You Are Not Human: How Words Kill.

Following the presentation there will be an opportunity for questions and networking over drinks and canapés. This evening is being held in partnership with the University of Aberdeen Business School and is an opportunity for those at all levels of their career to further their understanding of leadership.

Spaces for this event are limited and we would advise registering as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
