Fungal Disease - Tackling the Hidden Killers
-

This is a past event

Did you know that a quarter of the world's population is affected by fungal infections? It also causes the death of around 1.5 million people worldwide every year.

This event will provide a great opportunity to learn more about the innovative research and trainning happening at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology that aims to improve the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of fungal disease. You will be invited to join lab tours, including microscopy and cytometry, and visit stalls with family activities. Please note that due health and safety regulations, children under 16 years old will not be allowed sign up for the lab tours. However, we will have a wide range of other exciting activities taking place at the event.

If you wish to be in the same lab tour with specific people, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.

If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni Relations office on 01224 273234 or by emailing alumni@abdn.ac.uk.
