This summer 2017, we hope to host the inaugural University of Aberdeen Neuroscience day, an event intended to showcase the brain research taking place here at the IMS, the Rowett Institute and the School of Psychology.  This year’s Kosterlitz award will take place on 31st of May, as such we thought it would be a good idea to combine these two events and to use the prize recipient, Prof. Dame Pamela Shaw, as our guest speaker. Currently, the idea is to have a day of oral presentations given by the post-docs working at the three sites bookending a PhD student poster session over lunch.  At the moment we’re looking to gauge the level of enthusiasm for Neuroscience Day, so if you are interested in participating in this event please email us back with a one or two sentence synopsis of your work.
