From the 7th to the 14th of May, A. Hurst, M.Vigorito and W.Vetel will lead a fieldcourse for Statoil on the largest (>100 kmsq, more than 800m thick) and better exposed injection complex ever documented at outcrop. This unique analogue for oil-bearing reservoirs include some spectacular exposures of parent beds, dikes, sills, sand extrusions and carbonate cold seeps.
