The venue for this years ICRS conference is the McDonald Highland Resort, Aviemore. Aviemore is set in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park in the Scottish Highlands. It is located approximately 30 minutes drive from Inverness Airport and 2 hours from Aberdeen Airport. The McDonald Highland Resort has a selection of restaurants, bars and a shopping complex with a wide range of luxury brands. It's leisure facitilies offer a wide range of beauty treatments and massages for those wanting to relax or an extensive exercise programme for the more energetic. The leisure facilities also include the lagoon swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cafe. Set in the splendour of the Cairgorms National Park their 18 hole par 72 championship golf course is a great place to escape after a busy day.

We aim to make your visit to Scotland as enjoyable as possible and are planning day trips for our social delegates and events in the evenings for everyone to enjoy, details will be posted here as we make the arrangements. We can arrange airport transfers for you from both Inverness and Aberdeen airports direct to the McDonald Highland resort on Wednesday 25th June with the return journey on Monday 30th June 2008 but please book early.

For delegates planning on flying into Aberdeen, why not consider arriving a day earlier and you can also include a one-day Symposium at Aberdeen University titled 'A fresh look at Cannabinoids and Cognition' held on Wednesday 25th June 2008. Buses will transfer you direct to Aviemore after the symposium has finished and return you to Aberdeen Airport on 30th June 2008 at a cost of £25 for the return journey.
