Tuesday, 23rd October: GES Careers Presentation.

We will be hosting two economists from the Government Economic Service (GES). The economists will deliver a careers presentation on job opportunities as government economists within Scotland and in the GES. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn about the GES (currently the largest employer of economists in the UK) and its recruitment procedure.

Wednasday, 31th October: Fancy Dress Halloween Party.

Societies Union is holding a Fancy Dress Halloween Party on the 31st of October from 10pm til 2am!
We are meeting at 9pm at the Union bar where everyone can wet their throats and buy a ticket at a cost of £3 for the event that is being held at the Tunnels later that night with the other societies present.
They'll be an awesome DJ and games with some prizes too!

Being as it is Halloween please don’t forget to dress up!

Monday, 19th November: Pub Aerobics night out.

A big pub crawl with forfeits and prizes for best costume.

The Economic Society will be hosting a Pub Aerobics night. It will be very similar to Pub Golf with forfeits and awards for the best costume, only 80s gym attire is expected to be worn. The plan is to begin at the Union bar at 9pm and let the havoc commence from there, eventually finishing at Tiger Tiger.
