Student Show 2009 - Title & Synopsis announced!
Student Show 2009 will be titled "Dial 'M' For Mastrick"

Student Show is back - and this time there's been a murder...

The cast of a brand new musical suffer a sever case of stage fright at HMT when their leading lady, Powis Hilton, is murdered.  Doric detective Perry Mastrick is soon at the crime scene and will stop at nothing to catch the killer.

Will he solve the case before the final curtain falls?  Before the fat lady sings?  Before we squeeze in any more theatrical cliches?  No matter who dunnit, one thing is for certain - the show must go on!

Intro 2 Student Show 2008 - Date Expectations!
Come and meet this year's Admin & Production team and last year's cast and find out more about getting involved in Student Show 2008! The meeting will be held on Tuesday 12th Feb at 7.30pm in the MacRobert Lecture Theatre (see map here)

Auditions for Student Show 2008 - Date Expectations!
Auditions for this year's show will take place on Sunday 2nd March at 10am in Marischal College, Broad Street, Aberdeen.
We are hoping that as many of you will turn up as possible - even if you aren't yet sure you can commit to the show.
Please don't be scared of the audition process - we are going to make it as relaxed and fun for everyone as possible this year - no Simon Cowell's here!
The first part of the day will be spent in groups learning a piece of a song and some simple dancing and ONLY IF YOU WANT TO AUDITION FOR A MAIN PART you'll then be asked to sing a song of your choice.
It'd be great to see as many students from Aberdeen Uni, RGU and Aberdeen College there as possible!

Introductory Meeting for Student Show 2008 - 'Date Expectations'
Come along to Tonik Cafe Bar (in the Galleria Shopping Centre, next to Paramount) on Wednesday 7th Novemeber 2007 for a chance to find out more about this year's show, and to meet those already involved - Admin and Production Teams, and the Script Team! The evening will be very informal and there will be drinks deals on offer and also some nibbles for everyone! Even if you aren't sure about Show, come and see us and we'll let you know everything there is to know! Oh, and have some banter too! See you there!!

Script Team Wanted! First Script Team Meeting for Student Show 2008 is:

WED 26TH OF SEPTEMBER FROM 7-9PM
NEW KINGS 6, KING'S CAMPUS, OLD ABERDEEN (see here for map)

You dont need any experience as a script writer, just enthusiasm!
The script team meets once a week (usually a Wednesday) to go over scenes that have been written over the past week for the Script Editor to put together and come up with an amazing script for this years show!!
