International Students

As Christians we are ALL told to praise the Lord no matter what nationality because his love towards us is incredible, and his faithfulness endures forever – not just for our time studying in Aberdeen…forever and for everyone.

Whether you are in Aberdeen for a term or for your whole degree, you are more than welcome at Aberdeen University Christian Union. We are a body of students run by students who meet together to study God’s word, worship Him, to pray together and have fellowship with one another. Not only do we do this but we are a mission team on campus going out and speaking the word of God boldly to our family, friends and classmates. If you’ve been a Christian for years or have never heard the gospel then come along and and find out what it’s all about.

One of the best things for international students is to really get plugged into the life of CU in Aberdeen no matter how long you are in Aberdeen for; this allows you to make friends, grow in your faith and be challenged about the different ways people worship and live out their faith. We have such a freedom in Aberdeen to go out onto campus and serve the people here and students here need to hear the gospel as much as the people where you are from - we should be telling the gospel to everyone we meet because it is just so exciting.

There are many internationals within CU and we put on evangelistic events about once a term (usually involving food!) for internationals to bring their friends along who have never heard of Jesus and to tell them the gospel.
