From 1 April 2011 I joined the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) as an Expert in Research in Education and Training. At CEDEFOP I am a lead project manager of the agency’s skill mismatch agenda, while I also contribute to the skills anticipation and green skills projects. I hold an Honorary Lecturer position at the University of Aberdeen Business School, and I am an IZA Research Fellow.

In the past I have been a research fellow at the University of Aberdeen, invited Lecturer at the University of Cyprus and have enjoyed brief policy stints at the Bank of Greece and HM Treasury. I have been the primary researcher of several EU Research Framework projects (e.g. HealthAtWork, EPICURUS). I have graduated with a First class Honours degree from the Dept of Economics at the University of Aberdeen, while I completed my M.Phil and D.Phil studies in Economics at St. Antony's College, University of Oxford and as part of the Scottish Graduate Program in Economics (SGPE).

My main areas of interest are Labour and Personnel Economics, Education Economics, Applied Econometrics, Economics of Well-Being.
