Interests
From 1 April 2011 I joined the European
Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) as
an Expert in Research in Education and Training. At CEDEFOP I am a lead project
manager of the agency’s skill mismatch
agenda, while I also contribute to the skills
anticipation and green skills
projects. I hold an Honorary Lecturer position at the University of
Aberdeen Business School, and I am an IZA
Research Fellow.
In the past I have been a research fellow at the
University of Aberdeen, invited Lecturer
at the University
of Cyprus and have enjoyed brief policy stints at the Bank of Greece and HM
Treasury. I have been the primary researcher of several EU Research Framework
projects (e.g. HealthAtWork,
EPICURUS). I have graduated with a
First class Honours degree from the Dept of Economics
at the University of
Aberdeen, while I completed my M.Phil and D.Phil studies in Economics at St. Antony's College, University of Oxford and as part of the Scottish
Graduate Program in Economics (SGPE).
My main areas of interest are Labour and Personnel Economics, Education Economics, Applied
Econometrics, Economics of Well-Being.
