The
team is headed by Dr John Cherrie, Reader in Occupational Hygiene
at the University of Aberdeen. His research interests include
human exposure assessment, environmental and occupational epidemiology,
natural and synthetic fibres, dermal exposure and particulate
air pollution. He is a member of the UK government Expert Panel
for Air Quality Standards, is Chairman of the British Occupational
Hygiene Society Standards Committee and a member of the editorial
board of the Annals of Occupational Hygiene.

Sean
Semple is involved in the development of the HEROX website and
administration of the project. Sean is a Research Assistant in
the department and is involved in exposure assessment in a number
of ongoing epidemiological studies. His research interests include
the neurotoxicity of solvents, dermal exposure, dermatitis and
the health effects of electromagnetic fields. He is currently
studying for a Ph.D.

Diane
Simpson and Lynda Cresswell in the DEOM, Aberdeen are the new
project administrators. Diane is PA to Professor Anthony Seaton,
HOD in the Aberdeen office and Lynda is a Research Secretary within
the department. Both Lynda and Diane have been with the University
of Aberdeen for several years and look forward to this new and
exciting challenge.
