We can help
you publish your research, either on our web site or in a peer-review
journal.
Have you just completed a research assignment as part of your degree course?
Do you have interim results from your work that you want
to share with your colleagues?
Do you have a research report that you just don't have
time to write up for a peer-review journal?
We can publish
your work on the herox site. We are particularly interested in work that
might not otherwise get published. The main thing is that the data add
something to our knowledge or point towards a new hypothesis. Dr Trevor
Ogden, Editor in Chief at the Annals of Occupational Hygiene, has some
good
advice for aspiring authors.
How
to submit your paper to HEROX

of the first papers to be published on HEROX.

of a method based on quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSARs)
for the prediction of the ability of a chemical to cross human skin occupational
epidemiology. Read Cronin (2001)
Read a paper about new developments in occupational epidemiology.Wild
et al, 2001 describe ways of combining expert ratings and exposure
measurements.
Graeme Hughson and John Cherrie publish some of their findings on reconstructing
diesel exhaust particulate exposures.....Hughson
and Cherrie (2001)
Matthew Parkinson and John Cherrie describe the results of a pilot study
to investigate the effectiveness of barrier creams in preventing dermatitis.....Parkinson
and Cherrie (2001)
Electronic publication of scientific articles is developing very quickly
and there is a vigorous debate about the various options available. Some
people would like to see information freely available on the internet
while others would prefer the established commercial publishers adapt
to this new media. You can read several stimulating contributions to this
debate at nature.com
