Exposure Assessment in a Changing Environment

Date: 16 - 18 June 2004

Place: Utrecht, the Netherlands

The conference follows the successful conferences on exposure assessment in occupational epidemiology and hygiene in Woods Hole USA (1988), Leesburg USA (1990), Lyon, France (1994) and most recently X2001 in Gothenburg, Sweden (2001).

During the conference there will be sessions dealing with both occupational and environmental exposure assessment. In addition, the ever-increasing interest in gene-environment interactions, quantitative exposure-response relations and interactions between difference exposures such as chemicals and biological agents in mixed-exposure environments will be discussed.

The congress is organised by the Institute of Risk Assessment Sciences of Utrecht University (www.iras.uu.nl) with local support of TNO Chemical Exposure Assessment (www.voeding.tno.nl) and the Dutch Occupational Hygiene Society (www.arbeidshygiene.nl). The Industrial Hygiene Scientific Committee of ICOH and the International Occupational Hygiene Association (www.ioha.com)provide international support
