Transit of Venus

The Tranist of Venus across the face of the Sun was scheduled to be visible on 8th June 2004 at Aberdeen from about 0640 hrs to midday, weather permitting. Across the world, it was the first time anyone alive could have seen this phenomenon.

VT-2004 is an international observing programme seeking active participation of amateurs from around the globe. It is now preparing its final report.
