The Case of the Soprano Pipistrelle

New species come to light often. Some have not been described before, while many more are found because of new knowledge that brings within-species differences to light. In the course of research, what has seemed a single species turns out to be two (or more). The name as originally published can apply to only one of them, so at least one of the species must be named afresh. This is now happening in the case of the soprano pipistrelle....
