"Bogbean Bennett" is a cartoon strip which used to run quarterly in the British Ecological Society Bulletin. This page contains some very low-res scans of three cartoons.
Disclaimer: All persons and institutions portrayed in this strip are fictional and any resemblance to actual persons/institutions is pretty much coincidental, whatever Humphrey thinks! Let's face it, Bogbean is more Phineas Phreak than any actual biologist present or past. The views expressed by characters in this cartoon strip do not purport to represent those of Aberdeen University or BES or anyone else. This particular episode owes a debt to Dark Star in case you missed the signifiance of the rather obscure ending. By the way, when this was drawn, a 200 MHz processor was pretty fast, okay!

A previous Bogbean Bennett, inspired by an unforgettable (and surprisingly enjoyable) conference...
Another previous Bogbean Bennett, inspired (if that's the word) by some setback or other in international conservation and by the nesting habits of Aberdeen's oysterctachers (they also nest on the roofs of tower blocks)
