Haemophilus influenzae Reference 2D Protein Profile

The reference 2D protein profile for the H. influenzae 2D protein database is based on a non-typable strain of H. influenzae called HI-64443 - a clinical isolate provided by Dr K Bruce. The reference 2D spot map was derived by matching three independant gels to produce a combined 2D spot map containing data on proteins present in each of the three gels. A table detailing the distribution of the proteins across the three gels is available.
